A new project focused on Made in Italy manufacturing excellence and technological innovation.

Focus on glass, innovation and dedication. Three core principles that guided Fenzi’s daily activities for 80 years, led the Italian company to become a global business, and revolve around teamwork as a key factor for its success in the glass industry. To further enhance its long-standing collaboration with glassworks and other key glass industry players in Italy, the Fenzi Group recently became one of the main partners of the Glass Group.

This close partnership resulted in the establishment of a network designed to become the go-to hub for trade professionals and engineers, architects, and designers in all glass industry-related fields of application. A network that unites and enables leading Italian companies to share competitive know-how and decades of glass processing experience, promote innovation within the glass industry, and develop top quality products.

Focused on Made in Italy manufacturing excellence and technological innovation, this new project once again shows that the Italian glass industry is extremely dynamic and resilient, and is known and highly valued by the international market in all of its aspects and fields of application.

“The idea behind the Glass Group development project was to lay the foundations for the creation of a supply chain workshop, where dialogue between the glass processing industries and the industrial supply companies would be the starting point for testing out synergies aimed at the development of a production sector requiring strong growth and innovation. We are grateful to the Fenzi Group for sharing this ambitious project with us and agreeing, after years of collaboration with our group, to contribute to a common project focusing on the challenges that await the sector," commented Daniele Predari, Chairman of Glass Group.

The Glass Group is also driven and firmly committed to helping the sector grow through strategic synergies, research partnerships, in-network services and training, in addition to being determined to work as a team on ensuring the use of glass is recognized as an essential factor in Italy’s shift towards green, high quality products and materials capable of effectively contributing to the reduction of waste and CO2 emissions.

“The collaboration with the Glass Group originated in the field many years ago, starting from a consolidated partnership with many member companies and leading to the use of numerous products and technologies designed by us for glass processors; today, this process culminates in the shared objective of fostering overall development of the Italian glass sector, one of the best known and valuable industries of the Made in Italy system. We are sure that this ambitious project will boost know-how and technological innovations in the sector by networking with reliable partners and leaders in the Italian Glass Industry, which Fenzi has passionately worked for and served daily for the last 80 years”, states Matteo Padovan, Managing Director of Fenzi SpA.
