Carib Glassworks Limited (CGL), one of the largest glass manufacturers in the Caribbean and a member of the ANSA McAL Group, contracted HORN for the cold repair of their furnace No. 3. 

CGL produces both standard and custom made containers in three colours – flint, green and amber. Carib Glassworks is located at Trinidad and Tobago and operates furnace No. 3 as a 160 tpd recuperative furnace.

This furnace shall be equipped with latest measurement and control technology as well as Diesel oil stand-by heating system from HORN. 

Moreover, the furnace design is prepared for a later installation of a HORN e-Fusion Power Boosting System to increase the pull up to 200 tpd.

After supply, the furnace is considered to be repaired under HORN´s supervision in Q1 2026.
