China Railway High-Speed (CRH), Backed by LandGlass

Date: 11 August 2015

In the first half of 2015, CRH has over 17,000 km of track in service, which is more than the rest of the world's high speed rail tracks combined.

In recent years, CRH has become the preferred vehicle when people travel.  At the same time, CRH has become a new name card of China, representing the current level of "Chinese Speed" and "Chinese made".

CRH is safer, more comfortable and economically competitive. Besides, the large side windows allow the passengers to have a better view during travel. The glass used for CRH side windows is not the normal glass, but the tempered insulating glass which has better insulation performance and acoustic properties. The 35mm thick side glass is embedded in the train perfectly, which reduces the air resistance and aerodynamic noise to a great extent. When broken, the outer layer of glass of side window will crumble into small granular chunks, which are less likely to cause injury, while the inner layer of glass will be intact.

Such kind of glass is made in China mainly by Qingdao Jinjing Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Tiemao Glass Company. Both of these two companies are using the glass tempering furnace made by LandGlass to produce the tempered insulating glass for CRH. Hence, without doubt, it can be concluded that CRH is backed by LandGlass.

LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd. is a high tech enterprise specialized in the developing, manufacturing and marketing of glass tempering furnaces, LandGlass has been always trying to make contributions to the development of China.
