Canada's PRELCO GOES FENEVISION ERP

Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, Canada Based in Rivière-du-Loup with other manufacturing plants in Montreal and New Brunswick, PRELCO is an expert in offering complex glass processing solutions with innovative products for the commercial, residential as well as automotive markets.

The company exists since 1976 and serves the market in Eastern Canada and USA , including Toronto, Montreal and the Maritime provinces. Amongst others PRELCO manufactures highly sophisticated glass products including tempered, high performance IG units, laminated glass and processed glass for shower doors and other applications.

Richard Langlais, Executive Vice President of Operations states: “We have always been a very innovative company and achieving complete customer satisfaction is the principle of our group’s quality policy. In order to stay ahead of our competitors we decided that we needed a new software solution. We have spent a long time evaluating different software solutions available on the market for glass processing companies and came to the conclusion that FeneVision ERP, created by Ohio based FeneTech Inc. was the direction to take.

We were all impressed, not only by the simplicity of the system, the ease of use and the overall functionality but also by the fully graphical user interface of this software solution. We have purchased the complete suite of FeneVision ERP for our group of companies, including the Internet based FeneVision WEB CENTER. This system will allow us to further improve customer service and help us to reply to final customer requests in a very efficient way.

Overall, FeneVision will allow us to optimize the flow of our business and improve our overall efficiency not only on the production floor but on the administrative side as well. We at PRELCO have constantly invested in new technology and also recently installed a brand new and highly sophisticated IG production line from Bystronic Glass to manufacture jumbo sized and high performance IG units. We are very happy now to start our journey into a new era of technology, together with our new partner FeneTech.

”Horst Mertes, Director of Global Sales for FeneTech Inc. adds: “We are extremely proud to have received this large software order. As I have said numerous times in various interviews or press releases it proves to me that nowadays companies are looking for fully integrated software solutions, based on one single and centralized database. Today companies want full visibility and tracking functionality from A to Z. This also includes our customers providing powerful Internet based tools, such as the FeneVision WEB CENTER to their end customers. I would also like to mention that the philosophy of PRELCO is well in line with ours namely, to work towards full customer satisfaction. This will ensure a great partnership for many years ahead of us.

”Ron Crowl, President of FeneTech Inc. comments: “The continued acceptance of FeneVision in the global marketplace is a strong indicator that FeneTech has developed software that offers significant leaps forward for glass processing companies. Our commitment to continued investment in FeneVision will make our clients even stronger. We are pleased that PRELCO recognizes the value that we can bring to their organization as partners.”
