The event brought together professionals from the glass industry from different countries across the region and allowed the group to engage directly with customers, companies and partners from the Latin American market.
At stand D01, TUROMAS and Distecglass presented a joint offering aimed at different areas of the glass industry. TUROMAS showcased its cutting, intelligent storage and automation solutions, together with TUROLAN, the new TUROMAS Group range designed for specific applications in workshops and glass processing facilities.
TUROLAN brings together practical, robust equipment that can be easily integrated into daily processes and has been developed to improve the organisation, handling and processing of glass. The solutions on display included the SC-03M manual sorting system, designed to store glass sheets and packs in an organised manner and provide easy access to the material; CLA-77 clamps for lifting and transport operations; and the DLL-50 portable drill, which allows holes to be drilled directly into the glass surface.
With this new range, TUROMAS Group expands its offering with functional, easy-to-implement solutions that improve the efficiency, safety and organisation of everyday operations, while maintaining the standards of quality, reliability and robustness that characterise the group.
Distecglass completed the group’s presence with its products, components and technical solutions for insulating glass, façades and windows. It also presented a selection of mock-ups developed together with Sika, which provided a clear visual demonstration of the application and performance of some of the materials used in these types of projects.
The exhibition also provided an opportunity to highlight the presence of TUROMAS Mexico, a subsidiary established to provide closer support tailored to the needs of customers across the region. From its offices and warehouse in Mexico City, the subsidiary has a specialised team and stocks TUROMAS spare parts and consumables, as well as Distecglass products and solutions.
This structure helps streamline sales support, product distribution and the provision of technical and maintenance services. It also represents the consolidation of a journey that began in Mexico in 2012 and has enabled TUROMAS to work alongside some of the country’s leading glass processors.
This regional presence is further strengthened by the new TUROMAS Mexico after-sales service for customers in North and Central America. The service provides technical assistance directly from the region through a team of three specialist technicians who are factory-certified and have more than ten years of experience. They provide support for the company’s installations and equipment in markets including Mexico, the United States, Canada, Central America and the Dominican Republic.
