Speakers at FGIA Virtual Summer Summit to Discuss State of the Industry in U.S., Canada

Between an overview of the latest FGIA U.S. market data and a breakdown of the current politics and trade relations in Canada, the content at this fully virtual event will give participants the knowledge they need to navigate current economic conditions. An FGIA members only session, “U.S. Market Study | FGIA Report Update and Industry Impacts: Tariffs, Inflation and Immigration,” will be led by Rhett Bender (Ducker Carlisle). This presentation will begin with an overview of the latest FGIA U.S. Industry Market Studies, followed by a Q&A with Bender. Released each spring, the latest FGIA industry market study offers current data and forecasting. This session will feature highlights of current trends and future changes in the fenestration market, as well as scenarios that impact the industry, including tariffs, inflation, and immigration. A second presentation, “Uncertainty and Opportunities | Navigating Change in Canadian Politics and Trade Relations,” will be given by Louis-Philippe Champagne (Canadian Construction Association). Political turbulence on both sides of the border poses significant challenges for the Canadian economy and the construction industry. With uncertainty at an all-time high, businesses and policymakers must stay informed and proactive to navigate disruption effectively. This session will deliver an in-depth discussion on Canada’s evolving political landscape and the changing dynamics of Canada-U.S. trade, including the impacts of tariffs, negotiations and policy shifts that could reshape cross-border relations.

Registration Fees and Accommodations

The extended early bird registration fee for FGIA members is $400 until June 3, then the price will increase to $450. Non-members can register for a fee of $1,600.
