Şişecam will introduce its innovative solar glass solutions, Şişecam SolarMax and Şişecam Charger by ML System, to visitors.

Ranked among the world’s top five flat glass producers, Şişecam will showcase its advanced technology glass solutions that add value to renewable energy investments at Solarex Istanbul, one of the most significant meeting points of the solar energy sector.

Şişecam will showcase Şişecam SolarMax, its high-performance product designed to enhance efficiency in photovoltaic modules, at the fair. Thanks to its low iron composition, SolarMax offers high light transmittance, while its special Anti-Reflective (AR) coating minimizes light reflections and increases the amount of light transmitted into the panel. This contributes to higher energy generation and long-lasting performance in solar panels. The product’s temperable structure enhances mechanical strength, helping protect panels against harsh environmental conditions. Şişecam SolarMax is offered for commercial-scale projects.

By increasing its production capacity 3.5 times and investing in next‑generation solar energy technologies, Şişecam demonstrates its innovative and advanced manufacturing capabilities in the sector. SolarMax enhances panel efficiency through its high light transmittance and low‑reflection properties, and further strengthens Şişecam’s innovative position in the solar energy field with the advanced solutions it offers in glass panel technology.

Another façade and roof solution that Şişecam will showcase at the fair is Şişecam Charger by ML System, which transforms glass surfaces into active, energy‑generating structures through building‑integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) glass technology. Developed in collaboration with ML System, this solution combines architectural design with energy generation in façade and roof applications, enabling electricity production without compromising aesthetics. Offered with a tempered glass infrastructure, the product contributes to sustainable and innovative building solutions by facilitating technical integration through comprehensive documentation support. Thus, buildings are transformed from structures that merely consume energy into systems that also generate energy.

Throughout Solarex fair, Şişecam will welcome visitors at its booth, where it will highlight its expertise in solar energy and advanced technology glass solutions, and showcase its product portfolio that contributes to the sustainable energy transformation to industry professionals.
