At the fair, Şişecam showcased its innovative solar energy glass solutions, supported by its strong flat glass production capabilities and rapidly expanding capacity driven by new investments.

Şişecam, one of the world’s leading global manufacturers in the flat glass industry, showcased its innovative SolarMax and Charger by ML System solutions at the fair, highlighting its growing contribution to the global sustainable energy transition.

The SolarMax product showcased at the Şişecam boothstood out with its high performance and efficiency features designed for photovoltaic modules. Thanks to its low-iron composition, SolarMax offers high light transmittance, while its Anti-Reflective (AR) coating minimizes reflection and maximizes the amount of light transmitted into the panel. This contributes to higher energy generation and long-lasting performance in solar panels. Designed for commercial projects, Şişecam SolarMax also offers enhanced mechanical strength with its temperable structure, supporting the protection of panels against harsh environmental conditions. Designed for commercial applications, SolarMax is temperable, enhancing mechanical strength and durability against harsh environmental conditions.

By increasing its solar glass production capacity by 3.5 times and investing in next-generation solar energy technologies, Şişecam demonstrates its advanced production capabilities and its innovative driven approach in the sector. SolarMax enhances panel efficiency with its high light transmittance and low reflection properties, while strengthening Şişecam’s leading position in the solar energy field through the innovative solutions it offers in glass panel technologies.
