Scm Group joins the scientific and technical advisory committee for the Robotics and Automation Innovation Prize, now in its fifth edition. Federico Ratti, Innovations Director, sits on the committee, representing the global leader group in machines and industrial components.

The initiative is sponsored by the magazine, Automazione Integrata and by Gellify, the innovation platform that puts high-tech B2B start-ups in contact with traditional companies with a view to innovating processes, products and business models.

The prize is open to companies, start-ups, universities, research institutes, laboratory spin-offs, either individually or in consortia, holders of an innovative application as suppliers of technology, system integrators and/or end users.

The broadening of the contest has been an important new addition to this edition. It now covers not just the world of robotics but also the world of automation, while still remaining within the parameters of the world of manufacturing.

The award ceremony will take place on 3 December, from 4.30 to 6 pm, during the MECSPE 2020 digital edition. Visit Mecspe official website.
