Digital technology and minimalist architecture characterise the RENOLIT exhibition stand.

Over 30 years ago RENOLIT made the first exterior films. Ever since the start of the 1980’s their high performance films have protected plastic profiles for windows, doors and facades giving individual character from a wealth of different colours and woodgrains.

The RENOLIT EXOFOL products today remain the original high performance surface, which is continuously improved and characterized by uncompromised quality.

This is the concept for the exhibition stand at this year’s Fensterbau Frontale. “Breaking new ground in our presentation, we developed a stand which was both minimalist and futuristic to showcase the original exterior film in the market” according to Marketing Manager Sibylle Kahl in describing the gallery like exhibition stand.

RENOLIT created and implemented the concept in cooperation with the Munich based agency Ozon and Fairnet GmbH in Leipzig.

White surfaces and unobtrusive lighting dominated the stand. Sophisticated translucent fabric made the walls appear transparent from the outside but opaque from the inside. The unassuming effect that this created enabled visitors’ attention to focus primarily on surface design and interactive product displays.

Pictures at an Exhibition

Films and animations which were presented and narrated by company staff captivated and informed visitors like pictures at an exhibition.

Interactive simulations displayed colours and woodgrains which could be configured impressively in combination with facades and window profiles.

Informative short films conveyed details about the structure of films, professional cleaning and repair films as well as the newly developed marker which enables recognition of genuine RENOLIT.

Movement also played a part in the presentation of the colour and woodgrain collections: alternating designs were projected onto the surface of an eight metre media table. The table formed the central axis of the exhibition stand and at the same time served as meeting and hospitality tables.

New products were presented via carefully illuminated product pillars. Visitors looked at the separate original designs displayed in full detail surrounded with a black mount so the viewer’s eye automatically focused entirely on the décor and colour. Just like a jeweller’s velvet cushion it gave importance and presentation to the object.
