More than 35 DaimlerChrysler representatives, mainly from the engineering and purchasing departments, attended the presentations and examined the samples on display.
"It was a very good attendance and we have had a very positive feedback," said global key account manager Hans-Werner Walkenhorst.
Technologies discussed included glasses with variable light transmission, antenna connection solutions and new water management possibilities for rooflights and backlights.
"The manufacturers need to know what is available in the market and how it fits in with their product plans," said Hans-Werner. "The reaction from DaimlerChrysler is that the day was very useful and informative and they have requested copies of the presentations."
