“In Thailand, nearly 70% of our CO2 emissions come from energy use, primarily from fossil fuels. To combat this, we must significantly enhance our energy efficiency and more effectively integrate renewable sources like solar and wind. Our key goal is to increase renewable energy to 50% of our total energy mix by 2050,” said Mr. Watcharin Bunrit.

The event also provided a unique networking opportunity, fostering connections between professionals and organizations committed to driving sustainability in the construction industry. Attendees left with valuable insights, new partnerships, and a renewed commitment to implementing sustainable building practices in their respective fields.

“Next Generation Energy has been an outstanding success, both in terms of the topics covered and the caliber of speakers,” said Mr. Gan Pay Yap, Chairman of the Singapore Glass Association. “The event provided us with invaluable insights that go beyond what’s typically available through mainstream media and standard analytical reports. The presence of major industry players and thought leaders further underscores the quality and impact of this gathering, making it a truly remarkable event.”
