The partnership brings together two leading names within the glass and glazing industry to provide installers with an enhanced package of technical expertise, training, compliance support, professional development and industry knowledge.
REHAU Authorised Partners are installation businesses that meet REHAU’s quality criteria and benefit from the systems company’s product expertise, technical support, training and consumer-facing marketing. Authorised Partners also receive visibility through the REHAU Dealer Locator, helping homeowners identify approved installers operating in their area.
Through the new partnership, these businesses will now have the opportunity to complement that support by accessing GGF Membership on preferential terms.
Amy Hopton-Smith, Head of Commercial & Operations at the Glass & Glazing Federation, said: “We’re delighted to be working with REHAU to create an opportunity that brings genuine value to its Authorised Partner network. These businesses already share a commitment to quality and professionalism, which aligns closely with the standards and values we champion at the GGF.
“By giving REHAU Authorised Partners preferential access to GGF Membership, we can connect more installers with the expertise, resources and representation available through the Federation and help them strengthen their businesses for the future.”
GGF Membership provides businesses with access to a wide range of industry-specific support. This includes technical guidance and expert advice, training and professional development, information and resources to support compliance, networking opportunities and government advocacy on the issues affecting the glass and glazing sector.
The partnership comes at a time when installers continue to navigate developments across Building Regulations, construction product reform, competence and wider compliance requirements. Combining the resources available through the GGF with REHAU’s existing technical and product expertise will give Authorised Partners an enhanced support network to help them understand developments and prepare their businesses for change.
Professional development will also form an important part of the combined offering. REHAU Authorised Partners already have access to REHAU training, CPD opportunities and product knowledge, while GGF Membership opens the door to further industry-specific training and development.
Lauren Mawford GGF Director said: “Running a successful installation business requires expertise across so many areas. Product knowledge and installation quality are fundamental, alongside keeping up with regulations, developing your people and understanding wider changes taking place across the industry.
“Bringing the support available through REHAU and the GGF closer together gives Authorised Partners access to an even broader pool of knowledge and expertise. We want these businesses to feel supported as they develop their teams, strengthen their professional credentials and continue delivering high standards for their customers.”
The partnership will also provide another way for participating installers to demonstrate their commitment to professionalism and industry best practice.
REHAU Authorised Partner status provides consumers with reassurance that an installer meets the criteria established by REHAU, while GGF Membership provides an additional recognised industry credential. Together, the two can help participating businesses demonstrate their commitment to quality and give homeowners greater confidence when choosing an installer.
For REHAU, the partnership adds further value to its Authorised Partner proposition, strengthening the range of resources and opportunities available to businesses within its network.
Russell Hand, Executive Vice President at REHAU, said:
"We see real value in providing REHAU Authorised Partners with preferential access to GGF Membership. This complements the support, training and technical expertise that REHAU already provides, while giving partners access to the wider benefits and representation offered by the GGF. Together, REHAU and the GGF share a strong commitment to quality, professionalism and high industry standards, helping businesses demonstrate their credibility and deliver confidence to customers."
The two organisations will also create opportunities for greater engagement with REHAU Authorised Partners. Plans are being developed for a dedicated event bringing installers together with representatives from across the GGF, giving businesses the opportunity to learn more about Federation membership and hear directly from specialists covering technical matters, training and government advocacy.
Amy concluded: “This partnership brings together REHAU’s established Authorised Partner network and the GGF’s wider industry expertise in a way that creates real opportunities for installers.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming more REHAU Authorised Partners into the GGF community and helping them make the most of the knowledge, support and connections available through membership. It’s an exciting partnership that supports our shared ambition to strengthen businesses and raise standards across the industry.”
