The Glass Machinery Company are delighted to announce the appointment of a new director, Mark Cerrone.

As every business grows, it needs to invest in the right people and as we enter 2018, The Glass Machinery Company are absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of a new key member of the team. Mark Cerrone, previously a General Manager at the Synseal Group, has joined as a Director of our continually expanding company and help strengthen our position as the leading supplier of glass machinery.

Mark has a wealth of experience in the flat glass industry, having started working life in the Derby family glass business, making sealed units at the tender age of 13 on a Saturday morning. After going to university Mark gained experience in commercial glazing and has gone from strength to strength within the glass industry.

Mark’s knowledge of glass from a hands-on production point of view will be invaluable and the move to The Glass Machinery Company is a natural progression for his career. Importantly, Mark’s experience of business systems and procedures will help expansion in a controlled and scalable manner whilst our Managing director, Phil Birchall, focuses on growing sales and product lines.

Mark commented, “for me this is a very exciting move and I’m looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead”.
