National Windscreens’ automotive glazing technician, Sean Hurley, has been selected to represent the UK in The International Master Fitter Competition 2012, managed by International Automotive Glass Federation™, being held in Dusseldorf, Germany, later this month.

The competition, taking place during Glasstec, the international trade fair for glass production, processing and products, aims to find the best international windscreen repair and replacement technician following competitions in each participating country.

Sean has worked at National Windscreens for four years and has 32 years’ experience of repairing and replacing vehicle glass. He says, “I’m really proud to have been selected to represent the UK in this prestigious international industry event. It was great to hear that I was the highest scoring UK finalist, so to have the opportunity to be in with a chance of winning the international event is amazing.

Commercial Director, Pete Marsden, says, “We were all delighted to hear that Sean has been chosen as the UK representative and believe he has every chance of winning the international title.
