It also operates a ‘repair first’ policy - only replacing windscreens when the damage is too severe to be repaired, saving its customers replacement costs. The new contract with Northgate will continue to focus on providing efficient windscreen repair and replacement services, through National Windscreens’ extensive network of 108 fitting centres and 800 plus mobile technicians located across the UK. It will also provide a selective on-site fleet inspection programme to ensure Northgate vehicles are fit-for-purpose by identifying any glazing problems that have the potential to damage the windscreen.
