International Year of Glass 2022 kicked off.

Here we are! The long-awaited day and year have finally arrived! We have entered 2022, the International Year of Glass and the first event will be the opening ceremony of the IYOG2022 at the Palace of Nations in Geneva.

Year of Glass is a historic event for the entire industry, an occasion to celebrate the importance of glass, demonstrating, once again, how it can contribute, with the latest scientific and technical discoveries, to the development of a more just and sustainable society.

We at Mappi are in Geneva, our CEO Nancy Mammaro, as vice-president of GIMAV and member of the NGA, is at the event, and we are very excited.

And, don't forget, this is just the starting point, this year is going to be very special. Stay tuned!
