Instead of manually testing multiple glass configurations, Genius Mode automatically determines the optimal glass build-up for a given application.
Users simply define the project parameters, such as dimensions and loads, and select their priorities: acoustic performance (SoundLab AI), structural strength (Strength Lab AI), and/or carbon footprint (Carbon Reduce AI). Adjustable weighting sliders allow users to emphasize specific performance criteria according to project needs.
Based on these inputs, Genius Mode systematically varies key design parameters and evaluates each configuration. Glass thickness is optimized using a targeted local variation strategy to ensure fast computation times, while all available interlayer types, including Trosifol® and SentryGlas® variants, are assessed for each structure.
The result is a clear, data-driven recommendation for the best-performing glass configuration, balancing sound insulation (Rw, STC, OITC), structural performance (stress and deflection), and environmental impact (carbon footprint).
Key benefits include:
- Significant time savings compared to manual design approaches
- Simultaneous optimization of multiple performance targets
- Transparent, data-based decision-making
- Strong support for customer consultations with concrete figures and comparisons
With Genius Mode, designing high-performance laminated glass systems becomes faster, smarter, and more reliable than ever before.
