Glass America Joins the Independent Glass Association

Date: 2 October 2007

Chicago, IL – Glass America, one of the largest independently-owned automobile glass replacement and repair companies in the country, has joined forces with IGA, the Independent Glass Association.

Its members are committed to the professional and ethical installation of glass in a safe and proper manner. IGA members are located in all 50 states and also in ten countries internationally. Now, each one of Glass America’s 90 shops across the country is officially a proud member of the IGA.

"After attending several conferences over the last few years, I’ve been very impressed with the leadership and goals of the IGA. We’re very much looking forward to utilizing the training programs and certification programs to further enhance Glass America’s level of customer satisfaction," said David Rohlfing, president of Glass America. "The IGA is a very strong voice for promoting safe glass installations, through AGRSS, and that resonates with Glass America. We look forward to being an active member and supporting the IGA in any way we can. I hope that everyone embraces the goals of the IGA."

"We are happy to see that Glass America, one of the largest independently owned companies that meet the IGA membership criteria, has become a member. By doing so, Glass America has aligned itself with high quality independent shops that see a strong future in the auto glass industry," said Patrick Smith, director of operations for the IGA.
