DuPont cuts production at Ohio facility

Officials from DuPont of Wilmington, Del., announced they will shut down part of its operations at the Marietta, Ohio, plant, according to an Aug. 15 report from WTAP news in Marietta.

They plan to restructure the Butacite portion of the plant.



Butacite is one of DuPont’s polyvinyl butyral interlayers in its Glass Laminating Solutions business, according to the report.



No jobs will be cut, as employees will be redistributed through the plant, according to the report
