Cutsafe Clothing announce the launch of their new Cut Resistant Clothing and Apron range for the Glass and Sheet Metal Industries all with level 5 cut protection.

The new range is made from the highly effective cut resistant fabric Cut-Tex® PRO which looks and feels similar to cotton sweatshirt material and in tests exceeds three of the maximum EN388:2003 performance levels. Included in the new range are two cut resistant sweatshirts, a zip up cut resistant jacket, some innovative new cut resistant ‘long johns’ (to wear under workwear trousers) and two new cut resistant aprons one for body protection and one for leg only protection, all available from stock from their website www.cutsafe.co.uk.

Cutsafe say; “These new garments are lightweight, easy to wear, extremely durable and machine washable they offer full level 5 cut protection throughout without restricting the wearer’s movement.” “If our customers are concerned their staff are at risk of sustaining cuts and lacerations whilst handling sharp edged materials we will be able to offer them an immediate off the shelf solution so they can meet their legal requirement to provide suitable PPE.”

Cutsafe intend to expand on this core full protection clothing range with a further range offering targeted protection to identified high cut risk areas very soon. They will also produce bespoke garments based on customer requirements. All the garments in the Cutsafe range are produced to ISO 9001:2008 quality control standards and are CE marked (Cat II) PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).

Cutsafe can be contacted on 08451 77 15 15 or by email at info@cutsafe.co.uk and via their website www.cutsafe.co.uk.
