Consolidated Glass Holdings, Inc., (CGH) announced that it has appointed Jim Smith as Director of INVISIWALL® engineered glass systems.

In his new role, Smith will be responsible for expanding the market for INVISIWALL engineered glass systems and working with the CGH Architectural Division—including J.E. Berkowitz, Solar Seal, and Columbia Commercial Building Products. 

INVISIWALL engineered glass systems are custom engineered for a variety of applications, ranging from point-supported glass walls, glass canopies, handrail systems, and all-glass doors and entrances to commercial shower enclosures and specialty applications.

“Jim brings nearly forty years of engineering, project management, estimating, and sales experience in the construction industry to the CGH team,” said Bob Cummings, Vice President of Architectural Sales and Marketing, CGH. “His expertise in mechanical engineering and construction management will greatly benefit the INVISIWALL team.”

Previously, Smith held positions at Armor Masonry, Eureka Metal & Glass, Pioneer Contracting, ASK Plastics, and C&M Builders.
