Architectural hardware suppliers, Barrier Components Ltd., is to exhibit at the FIT Show to be held at the NEC from 21 – 23 May.

They have launched new products at all the FIT shows since conception in 2013 and this year will be no exception with new pocket door and concealed door kits, new hydraulic patch fittings, a stainless steel Barrierslide addition and a single sided glass balustrade system to view.

Their new EVOKIT POCKET DOOR systems to be revealed at the show are from Ermetika. This system, manufactured from aluminium, easily adjusts for installation into either 100 or 125mm plasterboard walling providing discreet pocket door systems either with or without architraves not only saving on floor space when set against swing doors, but doing so with style and ease.

A 30-minute fire rated option is also available. The concealed door kits are supplied complete with flush door and feature reversible framing allowing maximum flexibility and installations providing high sophistication.

The Barrierslide door kits, featuring exposed tracks and hanging hinges, created much interest when launched at the last FIT show and sales have been booming since. They are ideal for both residential and commercial applications and will work with solid, framed and frameless glass doors.  Due to popular demand the range has therefore increased with a new option, BARRIERSIDE STAINLESS STEEL and the effect is stunning.

GCC are a long-standing high quality Taiwanese partner to Barrier and their brand new hydraulic patch fitting and Brisa Sliding Systems will be displayed for all to see at the show. This patch fits straight to the floor requiring no preparation, has the advantage of full speed control and comes supplied in Polished and satin Stainless and other finishes on request. The effect on a glass opening internal door for commercial or residential use is stunning and highly affordable.

The Barrier-Sabco range of glass balustrade systems, along with accessory spigots and coloured LED lighting options, have grown in popularity since the last show. The range, developed by Sadev of France, offers some unique features and comes with a 1.5kN rating.

This year a single sided fix option will be revealed allowing for even easier installation especially in high rise properties. The clamps in this system are tightened using a high strength Kevlar belt allowing for even pressure to be applied on the glass and for ultra easy adjustment. This is a market leading solution which enhances high level work safety with significance.

“We are delighted to be attending FIT again this year at the NEC.  It has become a great platform to launch new innovations and we hope it will be the same this year with plenty of footfall visiting the stand.” Said Managing Director, Graham Walker, who has been selling to this market for over 30 years.
