It comes as Meliveo, who joined the company in June 2006, also announces “aggressive growth plans” for next year. He says the windscreen repair company will invest £10m in the brand next year.
He adds: “In a market where most advertisers will be cutting budgets, we’ll not only be considerably growing out investment in TV advertising, but also in radio, where we are already the second biggest advertiser in the country.”
During his time as head of marketing, Meliveo has developed a new TV advertising strategy for Autoglass, which he says has created greater awareness of vehicle glass repair. He also launched its website and created an online booking system for customers so to make appointments.
Nigel Doggett, managing director of Autoglass, says that Meliveo has made “a fantastic contribution” and, has worked very closely with its parent company Belron to share best practice across the group.
