As the UK's leading home improvements company, Anglian Windows, a part of the Anglian Group, has chosen Glaston's FC500™ tempering furnace to replace an existing machine for its site in Norwich.

With consumer confidence now growing again, and in particular the housing market picking up, the time seemed right for the investment.Glaston FC500™ will provide Anglian with higher capacity, lower energy consumption, and most of all, the quality that enables them to continue to meet their customers demands for superb products and unbeatable service.

"After thorough research, we came to the conclusion that Glaston FC500™ is the best option to meet our customers' demands for quality and service," James Wilson, Production Director of Anglian says. "We're the UK's number one home improvements company and we couldn't have chosen anything but the number one glass tempering machine available on the market."

Glaston FC500™ replaces an existing furnace at the site and will be the main machine for the company's toughened glass units. The furnace will enable Anglian to produce over 20,000 m2 of 4 mm product with two shifts per day, five days per week.
