Alu-Pro, lead company in metal spacers for insulating glass, is to be a major attraction at Vitrum 2005 (hall 15 I°, stand D08-E09).

The recent acquisition of the majority shareholding in the Polish company Vetrim, in which Alu-Pro had already held a stake since 2001 and which specialises in the production of aluminium profiles and the distribution of products for insulating glass, further underpins AluPro's role on world markets. A preferential gateway to eastern Europe has opened up for the company in Noale, guaranteed by an excellent production facility with competitive costs.

Alu-Pro is to exhibit not only aluminium profiles at the Milan trade show but also the wide range of those in stainless steel produced by its Danish Rolltech plant - Chromatech and Chromatech Plus. These products, until now popular and in demand almost exclusively in central European countries with typically cold weather, are now gaining considerable ground also in countries with a more temperate climate. The benefits of the warm edge are therefore becoming apparent to all potential users of these types of applications. For this reason Alu-Pro is preparing to tackle a demand whose strong growth is forecast, therefore pointing to a future studded with increasingly significant commercial successes.
