Among the potential investors is the Leonese group Tvitec.

According to the company spokesperson, Tvitec is following closely the actual situation of Cricursa, due to their close collaboration in the past and present, having realised building envelopes together also adding their management relationship.

Tvitec System Glass is analyzing the operation of Cricursa. In general terms the integration of Cricursa would add industrial and technological leadership to Tvitec, which the company already has in Europe in terms of high performance processed flat glass.

If the social and economic conditions are adequate, Tvitec sees the possibility of maintaining the activity of Cricursa.

Tvitec is currently one of the major commercial glass processors in Europe for double and triple glazing units laminated in house, ceramic and digital frit, thermal treatments up to sizes of 12,000 millimetres in length and has a specialized division for curved and bended glass.

All of the company’s processing activities are in tune with a potential offer of support and the future integration of Crircursa.

Tvitec has been present in the North American market over the last two decades, having supplied glass for emblematic high rise towers and beautiful iconic buildings. Among some of their latest projects are One Vanderbilt (New York), One and Two Manhattan West (New York), Green Point Landing (New York), One Congress (Boston) and One Dalton (Boston).

Having noted the above, for Tvitec it would be important to add more added value in the company’s offerings for curved processed glass in oversized dimensions and 3D. The company representative felt certain that all their customers from the US and Canada will also appreciate the added services, allowing them to build further trust in Tvitec.
