Thermoseal Group will showcase several products at Glasstec in Düsseldorf, including Thermoflex and new hot-melt machinery.

Thermoseal Group is exhibiting at the Glasstec Exhibition in Dusseldorf on October 22-25, 2024, where it will exhibit several products, including Thermoflex – the highest performing flexible spacer bar on the market – and new hot-melt machinery.

The UK manufacturer and supplier of IG components is also encouraging UK businesses to visit, and register their interest and book flights and accommodation before demand outstrips supply.

“The export market for warm edge spacer bar, other IGU components and machinery continues to grow, and we have an active export division which manages those sales,” Thermoseal Group’s Sales Director Mark Hickox said. “We support that activity with regular stands at exhibitions around the world, where we also keep our finger on the pulse of international building design while developing relationships with key policy makers.

“We recommend Glasstec to our UK customers because of its proximity to the UK, and they should make preparations now because hotel rooms get booked up quickly.”

Thermoseal Group says its Thermoflex flexible premium silicone warm edge spacer bar is the most thermally efficient of its type in the world. The component supplier has undergone a recent round of investment at its manufacturing facility in Wigan, commissioning a new twin-strand extruder, which can produce all thicknesses including 4.8mm, 6.3mm and 7.3mm, and air spaces up to 28mm in twin strand.

And because it is quicker than the company’s existing equipment, it can produce more than double the quantity of product per shift on certain product types.

This has helped future-proof the company and its customers for an expected uptick in demand for triple glazing, and as legislation demands ever-lower whole window U-values.

Thermoseal Group will also be displaying its new range of hot-melt equipment, with revised designs including stripped-back operating mechanisms and larger hoppers.

Mark said that Thermoseal Group’s attendance at Glasstec is ideal for UK-based glass companies who want access to new innovations that can set them apart from the competition.

“Glasstec will be home to more than 900 exhibitors from 47 countries,” Mark said. “And about 30,000 trade visitors from about 120 countries are expected to visit over four days.

“As far as international exhibitions go, Glasstec is on our doorstep, and it provides an excellent opportunity for UK businesses to keep abreast of new developments while networking.”

Thermoseal Group will also be hosting its famous Thermo-Bar party on October 23rd at the famous McLaughlin’s Irish Pub in Dusseldorf’s Old Town.

“I don’t say this lightly, but Thermoseal Group’s Thermo-Bar now has legendary status at Glasstec,” Mark said. “Contact me today if you want an exclusive invite to the event, and I look forward to seeing you at the biggest party of the exhibition.”

Glasstec will take place at Messe Dusseldorf on October 22-25, 2024, and Thermoseal Group can be found in Hall 10 on stand D48.
