EMS rushed to the scene of an apartment on Detroits east side to attend to a boy critically cut by broken glass.The boys parents told police the incident occurred while the child was playing in a closet where a storm window was stored.
He broke the glass and received severe cuts to the groin, police reported.
The boy was taken to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he is undergoing surgery in critical condition.
No arrests were made in the incident.
Police are still calling it an accident, but will further investigate the cause, Local 4 reported.
