DUBAI - Lumiglass Industries, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC and the largest automotive glass factory in the GCC, has trebled its capacity to produce bullet resistant glass (BRG) by adding two new automated glass bending furnaces.

Faisal Rashed, General Manager of Glass LLC, the holding Company of Lumi Glass Industries, said:“The expansion aims to meet rising demand for bullet resistant glass in the region.It also supports our strategic objective of increasing the company’s footprint in existing markets and
 foraying into new, high-potential markets.”
 
Lumiglass has been witnessing increased demand for bullet resistant glass for both automotive and architectural applications.
