Listers Sponsor Customer Care Award

Date: 21 September 2010

Listers Sponsor Customer Care AwardAfter winning numerous industry and quality awards over recent years Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent have now decided to become sponsors of a regional award which is particularly close to their hearts: Customer Care and Service.

The Sentinel Business Awards, held in association with the North Staffs Chamber of Commerce, are an annual event covering North Staffordshire and South Cheshire and are keenly sought after by companies both large and small. The awards attract businesses from across the entire spectrum of the business community and pay tribute to the corporate and individual successes within the region, which is also vital to the local and national economy. The winners are announced at a gala dinner evening attended by hundreds of business men and women from the local business community.

There are nine award categories and sponsors include among others Barclays, Michelin, Fortis and Keele University. Listers Managing Director, Mark Warren, says that they chose to sponsor the Customer Care and Service Award because they recognise the importance this plays in the success of their own business. Mark says that “the award winner will need to demonstrate their commitment to continuously improving standards in customer care and be able to give examples of service exceeding customer expectations. It will be interesting for us this year to still participate in the awards while not actually competing for a prize.”

Listers won an award at last year’s business event which saw hundreds of competing companies vying for these prestigious and well respected awards. This year they are encouraging other regional businesses from all industries to rise to the challenge of being successful despite the recession.
