A hands-on workshop focused on hardware will be offered during the FGIA Annual Conference, taking place March 2-5 in Huntington Beach, CA.

During the “Hardware Hands-on Workshop | From Components to Performance” on March 4, participants will have the chance to learn from demonstrations of hardware for a number of product types, including security screens, weatherstrip, multi-bar hinges and more. The schedule for the conference is available, and registration is open now.

“This two-hour workshop will give participants the knowledge they need to understand hardware performance for a range of different types of products in our industry,” said Florica Vlad, FGIA Events Manager. “Don’t just read about hardware standards. Experience their performance up close.”

Hands-on Hardware Performance Workshop

A series of eight stations will be on site, where participants will learn to identify hardware for several different product types. Each station will feature a relevant FGIA standard, seeking to demonstrate performance requirements for each. Participants can expect to spend 10 minutes at each station.
