On Friday 28 April, Bertrand Cazes, Secretary General of Glass for Europe, participated as a speaker to the 4th Innovative Glazing Global Summit.

The latest technological advancements improving the glazing process, trending glass use cases in architectural design and recent innovations were among the topics of this 2022 edition.

While developing new innovative products to save and produce energy in buildings, the flat glass industry is also researching new way to improve its manufacturing processes and limit carbon emissions. In his presentation, Bertrand Cazes highlighted the crucial role played by flat glass products in delivering truly sustainable buildings. Thanks to glazing properties, buildings can consume less energy and become zero emissions. They can ensure a healthy and safe environment for its occupants and can adapt to the natural environment.
