Faour Glass Becomes Florida Dealer for Swiss Manufacturer Sky-Frame.

Today Faour Glass announced it has agreed to become a Sky-Frame dealer in Florida. The company will distribute and market Sky-Frame’s Hurricane product line.

The Sky-Frame Hurricane sliding glass door will complement the company’s own line of SLIMPACT® Windows and Doors, offering architects and owners the largest selection of unobstructed views.

“We are excited about becoming a Sky-Frame dealer and adding their hurricane product line to our portfolio of frameless products, as it’s the perfect complement to our SLIMPACT® line of windows and swing doors,” says Angelo Rivera, vice president of Faour Glass. “Our two companies have great synergy in both innovation and providing the highest quality products to the most discriminating clients.”

Sky-Frame, based in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, is the leading international supplier of frameless sliding window systems. The Sky-Frame Hurricane sliding glass door is one of the largest hurricane-rated sliding door systems in the world, meeting the HVHZ standards, with design pressures up to 75psf. Sky-Frame products are featured in thousands of properties across all continents.

“Working with Faour Glass will create a great opportunity for both companies in the Florida market, offering a complete line of frameless systems for the sophisticated architectural community,” says Nic Neumann, USA CEO for Sky-Frame. “We look forward in working closely with Faour Glass and expanding our presence in the hurricane market.”
