Energiesprong is a program created by the government of the Netherlands in 2010 to adapt existing buildings to higher energy efficiency standards, becoming zero energy buildings.

Italy is currently promoting this program: there are about 16 million homes to be redeveloped in our country, ideally in the next 16 million minutes that separate us from 2050. To redevelop 1 house per minute and achieve the carbon neutrality goal by 2050, it is necessary to triple the speed of intervention, double its effectiveness and ensure its performance.

Traditional approaches are not compatible with these goals. And it is not convenient, from an environmental and economic point of view, to intervene with partial or light redevelopments which will be obsolete in just over a decade and which will require further investments before 2050. It is necessary to intervene now with 2050-ready solutions for a decisive energy leap, in Dutch “Energiesprong”.

This is why we promote the development of retrofitting solutions with an industrialized approach to reduce execution times and costs and allow the achievement of 2050-ready comfort and energy performance with a single jump: Edera and Glass Group are working side by side to develop this project in our Country.
