Corsicana Glass and Mirror has been an institution in Corsicana since 1964, but on April 1, 2009, new owner Paula Jones purchased the business, and just celebrated 10 years.
Beryl and Martha Prestige opened it in 1964, and we were on a deer lease with them,” Paula said. “I had worked for Liston Herod for 14 years, and Beryl was getting ready to retire.”Over the next two deer seasons, Prestige campaigned hard for Paula to purchase the business.
Mickey McCain first started “trailing” the late Beryl Prestige when McCain was 12 or 13 years old. Then he started working after school and on Saturdays.
