Colombia Glass 2019: good success for the second edition of the event

The two-day event focused on the glass industry sector in Colombia and South America ended yesterday.

Colombia Glass 2019 – the business meeting dedicated to the glass industry held 20-21 November at the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel – got in contact leading suppliers of machinery and technological solutions for the glass industry with professional visitors coming from Colombia and neighbouring countries.

Among visitors attending the show, many important South American companies of the sector: Vidrio Andino, Tecnoglass, Laminados y Blindados, Ventana Antiruido El Pimar, Blindes Isbi, Vidrios HS, Cristalvit, Dividrios, Aluminio y vidrio, Tecsil, Vidrios Tequendama, Vidrio y Cristales Templado, Mundi glass, Fairis, Kioo Glass.

Along with the exhibition area, interesting conferences and workshops took place over the two days. On 20 November Vitelsa gave an overview of the glass market in Colombia, stressing that architectural glass has been increased of 50% in the last few years. Moreover, many Colombia Glass exhibitors gave their presentations to introduce their activities and technologies.
