Bucher Emhart Glass introduces a Parts Shop & Catalog within their dedicated customer portal

Date: 25 March 2015

In order to better serve their customers and improve the business processes, Bucher Emhart Glass launched the new Parts Shop & Catalog as it was introduced during Glasstec 2014.    In February a new section within the existing customer portal was added to enter this new tool.

This expands the features of the Bucher Emhart Glass customer portal beyond the details of the order processing and the analytics. Inside this section customers can find further explanations as well as “how to use”-guides and introduction videos.

The Parts Shop & Catalog provides structured search in the complete Hot End and Refractory parts product Portfolio. Any part within the portfolio can be found with the search engine and includes a description, price information, availability and many are enhanced with a product photograph.

The inspection parts portfolio will be added by end of the 2015.

For access please use your known log in credentials for the Bucher Emhart Glass customer portal.

For new access please contact your sales account manager or your local CCP team and start exploring this special opportunity.

The default user is set up with the limited non-buyer role. This means that all spare parts and mechanisms of the Bucher Emhart Glass portfolio can be found and personalized lists can be created but no order can be placed. However customers may as well get set up with a buyer-role to place orders directly into the Bucher Emhart Glass ERP system.
