From 20-22 February 2024, digitalBAU—the trade fair for digital solutions in the construction industry—will take place in Cologne for the third time.

Digitalisation in the construction industry is progressing and yet we are still facing major challenges, but also opportunities.

This is why numerous key players in the industry will be presenting their solutions and products at digitalBAU in order to address the digital transformation in the construction industry, which encompasses the entire construction value and process chain.

In addition, digitalBAU will once again offer a first-class supporting programme. Exciting presentations and panels on the digitalisation of the construction industry will be held in a total of five forums.

For example, Wolfgang Hardt, CEO and partner at Burckhardt Architektur AG, for whom the topic of transformation is best described with a quote from Heraclitus: "The only constant in the universe is change."

How can digitalisation and sustainability be combined as two cross-sectional disciplines? Franziska Friebel, Head of BIM, David Chipperfield Architects and Hanns-Jochen Weyland, Associate Partner, Störmer Murphy and Partners, talk about this and highlight the potential, but also the challenges.

How does the circle close? What role do building resource passports play as proof of circular construction? Prof. Dr Anja Rosen, Professor of Circular Construction, Managing Director and Partner at FH Münster, C5 GmbH.

The award ceremony in the "Built on IT—Construction professions with a future" 2024 competition will also be exciting.

Discover these and many other programme highlights at digitalBAU 2024!
