International trade fair for window and facade fensterbau/frontale 2006, which takes place together with Holz-Handwerk in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 22-25 March 2006, has two premières to offer this year.The first one is expert discussion on “Glass Bonding for Window Production”.

Representatives from window production, the glass industry, system providers, research and test institutions and machinery manufacturers examine current bonding techniques for window production and the future prospects of these technologies.

The panel of experts comprises: Klaus-Peter Schröder (chair), Chief Editor GFF – magazine for glass – windows – facades – metal; Josef Wolf, Corporate Marketing Manager SIKA Services AG; Meinhard Lemuth, LEMUTH GmbH; Markus Wenger, A. + E. Wenger AG; Dr.-Ing. Michael Szerman, Director System Engineering Salamander; Bernd Giesel, Project Manager profine; Christoph Rellstab, Head of Technical College TS Holz, HSB; Karin Lieb, Test Centre Manager ift Centre for Glass, Building Materials and Building Physics; Dr. Klaus Peter Schober, Holzforschung Austria; Engelbert König, Head of Marketing Internorm International GmbH.

The second debut at fensterbau/frontale 2006 is metallbauTreff. There is a new communication platform for metalworkers and innovative suppliers. It is organized by NürnbergMesse and the trade magazine metallbau. Technology leaders in each of the fields of solar technology for metalworkers, facade concepts, glass construction and hardware present their concepts for the future in a neutral special show and demonstrate the technical feasibility and practical implementation using exhibits.

Of special interest to the audience are supporting events like the 3rd Forum Architecture – Windows – Facades, the Architects’Area, the Innovation Centre “Energy Efficiency”, the MasterAward, the special show “Experience Quality!”.
