High-tech industry in rural areas

Founded and located in Rubielos de Mora, TUROMAS has demonstrated that innovation and advanced industry can be developed in a rural environment. From this small town in Teruel, the company designs and manufactures intelligent solutions for the storage, loading and cutting of flat glass, which are now used in more than 100 countries.

More than 66% of its turnover comes from foreign markets and it has its own branch in Mexico, as well as a consolidated presence in South America and Europe.

Commitment to training and local talent

One of TUROMAS’ strategic pillars is its support for technical training in the region. The company collaborates with educational centres, takes on students for work experience, promotes dual training programmes and organises educational visits to bring young people closer to the industry.

‘The objective is clear: to generate opportunities for local talent to develop professionally without having to leave their homeland,’ the company emphasised.
