Thompson I.G., LLC achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System

Thompson I.G., LLC, a fabricator of laminated safety glass, insulated glass units, and transparent bullet resistant products for the commercial, defense, industrial, transportation and residential markets, is proud to announce that the company has earned Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Customer-centric continuous improvement

ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized quality management standard developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The certification provides guidelines in creating and effective quality management system. Based on high-quality management principles, these guidelines are customer-centric with high-level involvement from the company management. The standard also provides outlines continuous improvements based on a process-based approach.

To achieve the certification Thompson I.G. went through a thorough, company-wide, audit, reviewing the company quality management system and performance. Maintaining certification will require perpetual audits by our internal audit team and validation by a third-party certifying body to ensure compliance with the standard.
