Solar Innovations® Folding Glass Walls create a seamless opening that allows cars to pass between sections or back onto the lot.

Want to create a dramatic yet functional entrance that is large enough to drive cars onto the showroom floor? Solar Innovations® Folding Glass Walls create a seamless opening that allows cars to pass between sections or back onto the lot. When closed, our thermally enhanced walls protect against exterior elements and unpredictable weather.

Crown Buick/Hyundai, a Florida based dealership, wanted a door system large enough to fit cars through that would also provide security and blend with the building’s aesthetics. Solar Innovations suggested an 8 foot G2 Folding Glass Wall system.

With the inclusion of a three point locking system, interior two point locks, and heavy flushbolt interior locks, the dealership can rest easy knowing the cars are very secure. The use of a flush sill allows for unobstructed passage of the vehicles.

Solar Innovations® Project: Folding Glass Walls in Buick/Hyundai ShowroomDue to the area’s strict building codes that protect against high winds and hurricanes, the dealership needed durable, high strength operable doors. Luckily, Solar’s Folding Glass Walls are Florida impact and Miami Dade approved products. The G2 systems are structurally tested up to a design pressure of 80psf and have a water performance up to 15psf.

Whether you are building a new dealership or going through a showroom remodel, consider adding Folding Glass Walls. These systems not only provide superior security and make moving vehicles in and out easy, but also add a wow factor for customers driving off in their new car!
