Şişecam International Glass Conference combined with 34th Şişecam Glass Symposium “Glass in the Sustainable Future: Achieving What is Possible”

Şişecam International Glass Conference will be held in conjunction with the 34th Şişecam Glass Symposium with the main theme of “Glass in the Sustainable Future: Achieving What is Possible”. We are gratified to start this international biennial platform with an intention of creating a long lasting hub in Glass Science and Technology in Istanbul, where east meets west. The Conference would be an excellent opportunity on a global scale to update and discuss the latest developments.

In 2019, this world class event would take place on November 21-22, at Crowne Plaza Istanbul Asia Hotel & Convention Center in Istanbul, Turkey.

Şişecam Glass Symposiums, the premier glass science and technology platform in Turkey, have been growing steadily and strongly for the last 33 years and had the pleasure of hosting joint meetings with the International Commission on Glass (ICG) three times in the past.

As we embark on our ambitious journey towards exploring and hopefully achieving ‘what is possible’, Şişecam warmly invites scientists, engineers, technology providers, students and investors from universities, research institutions, suppliers and other glass manufacturers to present, discuss and share the latest developments on “Glass Science and Technology” on a global scale.

There is no attendance fee for the conference.

Scientists, engineers, technology providers, students and investors from universities, research institutions, suppliers and other glass manufacturers are all welcome to attend, submit and present their scholarly works free of charge.
