Roto North America is excited to announce that Avia, Mighton’s newest and most innovative product to date, will be introduced this week for the first time onto the world stage at the Consumer Technology Association’s annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Avia is being introduced into the smart lock arena and is the first Apple HomeKit smart home security system to work with multipoint locking door systems, which are increasingly used in North America for residential doors due to their superior security performance. With the majority of external doors fitted to US homes protected only by deadbolt locking systems that are easily broken into, multipoint locking systems are increasingly becoming more popular in the US.

Roto North America’s President & CEO, Chris Dimou, stated “Roto is pleased about this exciting opportunity to introduce the Avia smart lock to North America. The Avia offers advanced technology coupled with high functionality and will be a great addition for our customers.”

Recent statistics show that there are 1.3 billion active Apple devices worldwide. For everyone with an Apple iPhone or iPad, Mighton Avia will provide a stylish and highly effective Apple HomeKit-enabled smart lock solution for their home. After extensive development work with Apple, users will have the confidence that Avia will work seamlessly with their devices.

The new smart lock is controllable from the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, keypad, and fob.

Mighton Chairman, Mike Derham, says “Avia has been thoroughly developed and extensively tested to ensure that we have a highly functional, secure and effective product that is simple to install and which works seamlessly using Apple HomeKit technology.”

The Avia will be displayed at CES in Sands Halls A-D, booth 40566
