NorthGlass Secures Smart Factory Project for Shaanxi HongGlass

NorthGlass Automation has successfully secured the contract for Shaanxi Hong Glass Innovation Materials Co., Ltd.’s intelligent digital production line project, covering cutting, edging, tempering, laminating, and insulating glass processes, supported by a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

The project will utilize NorthGlass Automation’s proprietary smart factory solution, delivering a fully integrated digital production line that includes laser marking, cutting, edging, tempering, laminating, and insulating glass production. A centralized MES platform will be implemented to enable unified production management and real-time data integration.

Once completed, the facility will achieve fully automated operations from raw glass storage through to the insulating glass production line, creating a highly efficient, seamlessly connected, and collaborative manufacturing environment.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in glass processing equipment and technology, NorthGlass has developed a mature smart manufacturing ecosystem centered on automated warehousing, intelligent logistics, and MES integration. Securing this project once again demonstrates the market’s confidence in the reliability, innovation, and technical expertise of NorthGlass Automation’s smart factory solutions.

NorthGlass will continue to leverage its smart factory platform to support the glass processing industry’s transition toward greater efficiency, sustainability, and intelligent, high-quality development.

The project covers a total land area of 28,552 square meters and represents a planned investment of CNY 215 million. The development includes approximately 20,000 square meters of high-standard smart factory facilities and a 3,000-square-meter office building, along with supporting production and warehousing infrastructure. The goal is to create a modern, intelligent, and environmentally friendly industrial park.
