Technology Matrix That Drew the Spotlight

Tempering Technology: Reaching New Heights

The 4th-generation high-end tempering furnace achieved significant breakthroughs in temperature control and cooling systems. A precision heating algorithm greatly enhances transformer efficiency, while newly developed air-blast nozzles, based on fluid simulation, improve performance—setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Smart Manufacturing: Automation in Full Swing

NorthGlass’ automated smart factory solutions are now widely implemented in architecture, home appliances, photovoltaics, and sanitary ware. The upgraded MES smart flexible production line has further improved system stability and efficiency, generating strong interest from international clients.

Coating Technology: Continuous Innovation

At the exhibition, NorthGlass presented upgrades to core components such as cathodes and magnets. It also showcased breakthroughs in large-format architectural glass coating and cutting-edge applications in solar thin-film cells.

Energy-Saving Triturbo Fan: A New Industry Benchmark

The new energy-saving triturbo fan integrates permanent magnet direct drive with advanced aerodynamic technology, achieving industry-leading energy efficiency. This solution reduces energy consumption by more than 30% in industrial systems, setting a new green standard.

Diverse Products, Leading the Future

Highlights of the exhibit included:

  • “Quiet Haven” Acoustic Room: Noise reduction of up to 48 dB
  • “Iceberg” Cast Glass Curtain Wall: A pristine white façade that became a social media sensation
  • Modular Housing & Unitized Curtain Wall Systems: A standout in sustainable construction
  • World’s First Triple-Chamber High-Temperature Furnace: Increases output by 30%, reduces energy use by 60%, and enables zero direct carbon emissions—contributing to the green transformation of ceramics and glass industries

Global Reach and Impact

During the exhibition, NorthGlass welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors from over 40 countries across six continents, including the U.S., Japan, India, Germany, France, the U.K., Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Signed projects covered a wide range of applications, from tempering furnaces and automation lines to curtain wall systems.

Three Decades of Innovation

As one of the earliest participants in the China Glass Expo, NorthGlass has exhibited for 30 consecutive years. Since developing China’s first horizontal roller-hearth tempering furnace in 1994, the company has been a pioneer in localizing glass processing equipment.

Over the past three decades, NorthGlass has grown in parallel with the industry, driving technological progress and industrial transformation. From “Made in China” to “Created in China,” NorthGlass has played a key role in advancing the nation’s deep-processing glass sector.

Now, celebrating its 30th anniversary, NorthGlass is embarking on a new chapter of high-quality development—continuing to lead the industry and shape the future.
