New head of Fittings Product Division at Bohle

Hans-Holger Hauck (60) became the new head of the Fittings Product Division at Bohle AG on 4th January 2016.  His new position gives him responsibility for the global range of fittings offered by the renowned company from Haan.

Mr. Hauck has worked in various management positions in the fittings business since 1999, lastly as senior product manager at Dorma. Born in northern Germany, he has worked abroad for most of the last 20 years. He managed the Asia/Pacific business for a large door fittings producer in China and lived and worked in Australia for a number of years before returning home to Germany.

"I want to carry on the successful work of my predecessor at Bohle and systematically develop its highly interesting range of products, including in an international context. One of the goals that I have set for myself and my team is to position Bohle as a global provider of a comprehensive range of high quality glass fittings", is how Mr Hauck describes his ambitions.

"We're delighted that Mr Hauck has joined Bohle", says Christoph Schmidt, head of Direct Global Sales, about the new recruit and adds: "His international experience will help us to advance our fittings business in the markets in which Bohle maintains subsidiaries or which are supplied by exports."

The German market, in which Bohle is already highly successful with its fittings products, should also profit from the experience amassed by the fittings expert: "Now that Mr Hauck is on board, we can launch the next stage of our exploitation of the German market", anticipates Dominik Hinzen, head of Marketing and Direct Sales in Germany. "New products, good advice and high availability should enable us to further increase our market shares not only in Germany, but also abroad", says Mr Hinzen confidently.
