At Glasstec 2026 in Düsseldorf, Lattuada will unveil its first fully automated robotic line for glass grinding, washing and handling, alongside a new generation of smart automation solutions for the industry.

Every two years, Glasstec brings together the leading players of the international glass industry in Düsseldorf, confirming its status as the reference event for those who develop technologies, machinery, and solutions for the entire production chain.

The 2026 edition, scheduled from October 20 to 23 at the Düsseldorf exhibition center, once again presents itself as the primary meeting place between technological innovation, research, and industry, offering a comprehensive overview of the developments transforming the glass production and processing sector.

Alongside the large exhibition area, the 2026 edition of Glasstec offers a rich program of conferences, forums, and international discussion events, designed to encourage dialogue between manufacturers, processors, designers, research centers, and industry stakeholders. The value of the event lies precisely in its ability to anticipate the main market development directions, offering not only technologies, but also visions and expertise for the future of glass processing in all its facets.

Glass industry: what challenges lie ahead?

Glasstec 2026 is preparing to place at the center the themes that are currently redefining the glass sector on a global level. Digitalization, artificial intelligence, decarbonization, and the circular economy represent the hot topics of the event, accompanied by a program of in-depth sessions dedicated to new glass applications, research, and emerging technologies.

Among the most anticipated events are the new edition of Glass Technology Live, the glasstec conference, the architecture forum, the Glass Trends Sessions, the meetings dedicated to innovative startups, and the new format Women in Glass, created to promote women's skills and professionalism within the sector. The shared goal is to create an environment in which technological innovation, sustainability, and knowledge transfer can lead to new opportunities for the entire supply chain.

In this context, attending Glasstec means actively participating in shaping the future of the glass industry, engaging with leading international players, and presenting solutions that meet new production needs.

Also in 2026, Lattuada will be among the protagonists of Glasstec and looks forward to welcoming clients, partners and professionals from all over the world at Hall 16 – Stand A30.

For Lattuada, participating in the most important international event dedicated to glass is a strategic milestone, consistent with a history built on continuous innovation, design reliability, and constant engagement with the market.

Glasstec has always been the ideal platform for showcasing the company's technological advancements and sharing a vision for glass processing that is increasingly focused on automation, process integration, and production efficiency. The 2026 edition marks a new step in this direction.

For the first time, Lattuada is bringing a fully automated robotic line to Glasstec

The centerpiece of the booth will be, for the very first time, a fully automated robotic line, designed to integrate glass grinding, washing, and handling into a single production flow. The configuration is the result of a collaboration between Lattuada and Knittel Glass, and represents a concrete example of how robotics and automation can be integrated into a perfectly coordinated industrial glass processing solution.

The robotic solution includes:

  • The straight-line edger TLR 11 DD PC H60
  • The top-load washing machine CT 2300/500/4S
  • A KUKA robot on a seventh axis that automatically manages and synchronizes the entire workflow between the two machines

More than just handling automation, this solution represents a new approach to production management: robotic integration makes it possible to optimize material flow, reduce manual intervention, limit machine downtime, and improve operational continuity, while maintaining the high quality standards that have always characterized Lattuada solutions.

The system was designed to meet the needs of modern glass manufacturers, which are increasingly moving toward automated, flexible processes capable of ensuring consistent productivity even in the most complex production environments.

Smart automation for increasingly efficient glass processing

Next to the new robotic line, two other solutions will be on show at the Lattuada booth:

  • The TLR 11 AV C PC H85, a fully automatic grinding machine equipped with the A-WR (Automatic Wheels Wear Regulation) and i-AL systems, two technologies developed to automate some of the most critical processing operations. The A-WR system automatically manages the pre-setting of the diamond wheels, drastically reducing set-up times and ensuring extremely high adjustment precision, while the i-AL system automatically optimizes the main processing parameters based on glass thickness, helping to make the process more stable, repeatable, and efficient.
  • The AL 9 M H60 grinding machine, a solution that continues to stand out for its reliability, precision, and versatility in the most diverse glass processing applications.

Lattuada: innovating means designing the future of glass processing

Participation in Glasstec 2026 represents much more for Lattuada than the presentation of its machines and robotic solution. It is the confirmation of a vision that considers automation, robotics, and digitization as tools to concretely improve the competitiveness of glassworks, making processes more efficient, reliable, and sustainable.

The integration between machines, robotic systems, and intelligent technologies opens up new possibilities to optimize the entire production process, reduce low-value-added activities, and ensure increasingly high quality standards.

From October 20 to 23, at Hall 16 – Stand A30, Lattuada will invite clients and professionals to discover this technological evolution firsthand, sharing a vision of glass processing where innovation and expertise continue to go hand in hand.

Visitors are warmly invited to Düsseldorf.
