By the decision of the Presidium of the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia, the annual International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI", scheduled for November 17-18, 2021, has been postponed to 2022.

As you know, the Association "StekloSouz" of Russia together with the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Silicate Chemistry named after I.V. Grebenshchikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICS RAS), a glass week was held from 13 to 17 September 2021 in St. Petersburg within the framework of the Third Russian conference with international participation "Glass: Science and Practice" GlasSP2021 under the auspices of the National Commission on Glass of the Russian Federation.

The organization of this large-scale event made it possible to discuss urgent problems, form a plan for their solution and further development of the glass industry.

However, due to the increase in the incidence and various restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the preparation for the International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI" in 2021, unfortunately, does not seem possible.

We highly appreciate your trust and health, dear colleagues. Together we will overcome this difficult period!

On behalf of the Presidium of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia, I express my hope for your understanding and further fruitful work for the benefit of domestic glass production.

See you at the International Forum "Glass and Modern Technologies - XXI" in 2022!

Sincerely,

President of the "StekloSouz" Association of Russia

Victor Osipov
